Katleen graduated from Ghent University in 2021 as a Master in Veterinary Medicine – Equine with great distinction. During her training, Katleen did externships in private clinics and with practice veterinarians, such as equine clinic De Bosdreef, EquiTom, Sabine Claasen and Dr. Marie-Stéphanie Delheid. After graduating, she continued an externship at the Institut Suisse de Médecine Équine Bern, the equine clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bern in Switzerland, where the differences in Belgian and Swiss equine medicine could be compared. Afterwards she started working as an independent equine veterinarian based in Zemst.
